We say good-bye to a dear friend and long-time member, Tom Fowler. Tom was well know in our chapter as a friendly, generous, helpful person who loved to buy and sell "basket cases". He was one of the chapter's best recruiters, introducing the NAWCC to many of the folks with whom he came into contact. He will be sorely missed.
After our usual, but always exciting auction, the meeting was called to order by President, Carol Tekippe. Our guests and new members were introduced. Our newest member is Frank Lindauer from Tucker. We will have a combined treasurer’s report next meeting since our treasurer was out of town.
Several members participated in the program showing off some of the unique clocks and their stories with the group. Some were sentamental, while others were humerous, but all were interesting.
The watch group enjoyed viewing, buying and swapping wristwatches and pocketwatches.
