The April meeting was a bit of a departure for our Chapter meetings. Derek Zigler, who sponsors a watch message board, described how to buy high-end wristwatches, and why there are so many different ways to get the same watch. He went into detail on retailers and registered dealers, and the risks and limitations for each. If you missed it, you missed a very informative meeting!
And speaking of missing things, would you believe that a grandfather clock was auctioned off for $250? One did at our last meeting. Another grandfather clock went for $100!! And these were not the hopeless wrecks you sometimes find, but working timepieces!! There were many more bargins for those present. A big thanks to Brooks Coleman for being our standing auctioneer.
