The first meeting of the new year was an unqualified success. Thanks to a lack of food restrictions at our new place, we had the best spread at a meeting short of our feast events! Thanks to all those who brought food, and pitched in on the set-up and clean-up.
I'd like to thank Bernie Tekippe for the February meeting on precision clocks. I'm sure I wasn't the only person surprised that the weight of the chain had such a drastic affect on a precision timepiece. The graphs he showed proving the accuracy of his design with weight changes were truely impressive.
Finally, mark your calendar for May 4th. There will be a planning meeting in Chattanooga for the Mid-South Regional. Representatives from five Chapters meet, share a buffet meal, and have an intimate Mart. The meeting will be at Wally's Restaurant, just west on Ringgold Road at exit 1 on I-75 in Chattanooga. Mart set-up begins at 10:00 AM, lunch will be around noon.
