October 2001

Watches are just small clocks, right? Although their tasks are the same, their methods are sometimes quite different. To help us with this understanding, Kent Singer, a regular contributer to the Bulletin, discussed the many facets that differentiate a watch from a clock. His obvious enthusiasm, knowledge, and experience led to a fascinating and enlightening discussion.

The December meeting will be our annual holiday party, and will be held at the old train depot at the park in Mountain Park. Members are asked to bring a covered dish (check your newsletter for the type), and the club will provide meat and drinks. There will be no formal program, but there will be a mart. Bring your favorite foods and timepieces, and join us in celebrating the season.
