The banjo clock is one of the most distinctive clocks that has ever been built. It is little wonder then that these unique clocks are a passion among collectors. A very few, like Ken Simons, have taken the time to research how these beautiful timepieces were developed and the colorful personages behind them. Our June meeting was a wonderful opportunity to see many examples of the older weight-driven banjo clocks, and to learn their history.
Brooks Coleman again held an impromptu auction, along with our Mart. We had a very good turnout of unusual watches and clocks for sale and display.
